Good post. It is always good to work with legitimate online jobs to make your earnings online easier. I will try online tutor. I have been doing paid surveys while earning very little which I believe is a waste of time. Thanks for this great post.

Whatever your reasons to search for work-from-home jobs, they’re out there. But there are plenty of work-from-home ads out there that will just lead to your losing a lot of money. So a good rule of thumb is to not pay any service that promises you work; they’re supposed to pay you. You also will want to heavily research any company you aren’t familiar with before you start working with them. If a business looks suspect, at least run it by some friends and family first.

This is quite a suggestive list. I am 32, turning 33 in Oct, and have 15 years in the Child Care field at a preschool, but would someday like to start working from home. As far as skills outside of Child Care as far as client relations & such, my other skills are crafting/bead making, professional organizing, and can type about maybe 50-60 wpm. Also was thinking of being an elderly companion, running errands, etc. Therefore I am wondering what I can really do from home with all this. I was thinking of creating some cards on vistaprint and just freelance as a Mother’s or Family Helper for those who have a rough time getting things done around the home, & who just don’t have the time of day whether it’s kids, relationships, family, etc. Would that make enough money providing I get a decent amount of clients? I am from south Florida just near Fort Lauderdale, so I’m just not sure. I know I don’t want to do child care forever, just cause it can be stressful at times. What do ya think? 🙂
At its most basic level, data entry involved operating equipment that inputs data into a company’s system. What equipment is used (most often a keyboard) and what types of data (alphabetic, numeric, or symbolic) as well as where the data is coming from, often an image or audio file, can all vary. Home-based transcription jobs, though similar, often require more experience and speed.

You’ll listen into see who answered the phone, whether the caller was transferred, if the caller was sent to voicemail or otherwise was unable to reach the sales person. That’s it.
Being an at-home call-center rep requires a computer and may require specific software or equipment. A great phone voice helps as well, as does any experience in customer service, data entry, retail sales, or management. Dozens of sites list job openings for call-center representatives, including Upwork.com, Freelancer.com, and SimplyHired.com. However, you may also find listings offered by local businesses in your local newspaper.

Social networks are a hot spot for work-at-home danger. One company called Easy Tweet Profits claims you can make up to $873/day online. They even claim one person earned $400,000/year using their method of tweeting your way to success. The catch? By signing up for their program you agree to be charged just under $50/month! There are a whole host of other companies with similar names (usually involving ‘make money’ or ‘make profits’) that suggest social networking can be a cash cow. But their game is all the same. Whether you’re talking about something you see on Craigslist, eBay, Facebook, Twitter or whatever’s the next hot thing, you’ve got to be wary.

I happen to have a friend from Florida who has been bugging me about an online income opportunity because she knows I am a freelancer who earns through online jobs. Durst has also noticed more teacher jobs being posted, and she knows of one professor who works mainly online and makes six figures — although income “depends on how many hours you’re applying to it and the type of classes you’re teaching.” A resource center for online teaching jobs can be found at GetEducated.com.
If you have good writing, grammar and research skills, then writing for website and blog owners or companies and individuals, needing written word for their websites, blogs or other online marketing channels can be a very lucrative part-time online side job for you. You can work in your pajamas, setting your own hours and rates (especially, if you have specialized skills in certain areas of freelance writing or gained some good experience). There are many sites where clients from diverse industries post article, blog post, web content, etc writing jobs and freelance writers pick up and complete those jobs for the clients. The writers get paid if their work is approved by their respective clients. On bidding sites, writers have to bid on writing jobs competing with other fellow freelance writers. The clients usually hire those freelance writers for their projects, who have the required experience relevant to the jobs advertised and whose pricing match their budgets. If you complete a few jobs successfully and receive good feedback for each completed job, you can land on more and higher paying jobs.
Even though these online jobs are ideal for people with no prior experience, it is always great to have side earners for a little spare change. I highly recommend signing up for Slice the Pie where I earn around $100 – $200 per month writing short music reviews, rating fashions, testing cell phone apps, and more. You can also earn a little extra by scanning your grocery receipts with Ibotta. Last month I earned an $258.00 sent immediately via Paypal.
